As Refugee Rights Turkey, we are organizing an online seminar titled “Article 3 ECHR: Safeguards for those seeking international protection” on Friday, April 7th between 14:00 and 16:00 (Turkish time, TRT).

The presentation will be carried out by the legal expert Sadhia Rafi, who has been the Manager of the Strategic Litigation Program at the Dutch Council for Refugees (DCR) for many years.

The seminar will mainly cover the obligations of the State Parties stemming from the Article 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and the critical concepts such as “safe third country”, “voluntary return” and “burden of proof” in light of the relevant ECtHR jurisprudence and include Q & A and Case Studies sessions.

Please note that our seminar, where simultaneous interpretation services (Turkish and English) will be provided, is open to the participation of all interested individuals.
